The Spirit of New Orleans

Is today one of the most well-known and seasoned orchestras in Denmark, with a unique dynamic and swinging style that contains all the ingredients needed to make the music come alive. 

The orchestra plays ragtime, blues, marches, love songs, evergreens, own compositions, gospel and spirituals of high quality. 

In addition to the musical qualities, the orchestra places great emphasis on creating an atmosphere through a good contact with the audience, with music and singing far beyond the edge of the stage. 

The Spirit of New Orleans was formed in 1990 and has played several thousand concerts at festivals, jazz clubs, churches and more, at home and abroad.
